(Hong Kong, 28 September 2022) Xinyi Glass Holdings Limited ("Xinyi Glass" or the "Group") (stock code: 00868), a leading integrated automobile glass, energy-saving architectural glass and high-quality float glass manufacturer, announced today that 63.65% of its eligible shareholders have elected under the Group’s scrip dividend scheme to reinvest their interim dividend in Xinyi Glass' shares.

The scrip dividend scheme allows shareholders to elect to receive the Company's dividend wholly or partly in new and fully paid shares of the Company in lieu of cash dividend. The Group issued a total of 69,102,480 scrip shares, representing 1.71% of its shares before the issue. The price of each new share is HK$14.87.
